Turn off the heaters of Jamaran

In the winter of the year 1983, the Imam suspended his meetings for two weeks. This was natural as the Imam would every once in a while suspend his meetings such as was the case during the blessed month of Ramadan. About ten days after resuming his meetings, he again suspended them for another two weeks. I called Mr. Rasouli and enquired as to what had happened that the Imam had suspended his meetings again. He stated that from the day the Imam heard about the shortage of heating oil in the west of the country—because that year the winter season was very cold—the Imam ordered that the heaters of Jamaran be turned off and as a result he was taken ill with a severe cold.
