We mourn the loss of Imam Khomeini's dear wife, who passed away after a lifetime of patience and perseverance, and months of illness. There is no need to mention that it is an honor to be the wife and companion of Imam as the great leader of the Islamic revolution, but accepting and dealing with the issues such as the difficulties of living in exile, the grief of losing two sons, and demise of the Imam adds extra value to her personality. Undoubtedly her unique patience and deep faith in God along with the peace and calmness in her soul are highly admirable and recognized as a small part of her great personality. Imam's intense devotion to her wife also shows the greatness and dignity in her soul.
Islamic republic owes its achievements to a great deal to the sincere efforts of all revolutionary Iranian people especially Imam's close relatives and his honorable wife whose sacrifice in succeeding the revolution won't be forgotten.
