Addressing the 6th International Conference in Support of the Palestinian Intifada (Uprising) in Tehran on Wednesday, the Iranian president said the Palestinian intifada has been the manifestation of resistance against the Israeli occupation.
Iran’s chief executive also warned against Israel’s bids to find allies among Arab countries of the region.
“The occupying regime [of Israel], in an attempt to normalize its situation, has for the first time referred to certain Arab countries as its allies against the resistance front, instead of describing them as its enemies."
Stressing Iran’s support for the resistance, Rouhani called for an end to Israel’s occupation of Palestinian land.
Rouhani stressed that the Palestinians resist the Israeli aggression in hope of returning to their homeland.
About 700 delegates from 80 countries took part in the sixth International Conference on Palestinian Intifada in the capital Tehran.
The two-day event emphasized the importance of the Palestinian uprising against the Israeli occupation.
The international summit was officially launched on Tuesday with a speech by the Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
It is mentionable that Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Republic recommended the Iranian officials and advised all Islamic countries to raise the Palestinian issue at the world forums and on international arena.
Imam through his historic speeches and messages also exposed crimes being committed by the Israeli regime against Palestinian nation.
