Iran imposes strict hygiene rules to ensure COVID safety at polling stations

The Iranian health ministry has ensured the public about the safety of polling stations against the coronavirus during the June 18 presidential and council elections. Deputy health minister Iraj Harirchi said on Thursday that strict hygiene regulations will be enforced at more than 10,000 polling stations across Iran that would accommodate the votes on a weekend holiday on Friday.
